The new show is going to be slightly late. I had some computer troubles that made it difficult to record anything, but they're all fixed now so the new show will be out soon.

Well I managed to get Derk on the show over his cell phone using Skype. I really need to come up with a better way to record a Skype call though... that tangle of cables and RF noise was horrible. That's probably due to including my desktop computer in the mix, which I'm sure puts out RF like crazy. I'll be recording the rest of the show tomorrow (or later today, as the case may be) using my regular portable studio rig, so the sound quality on that part should at least be normal.

In other news, I recently started reading about installing Linux on your iPod. It allows you to record much higher qaulity audio on your iPod than you normally can, and you don't have to use any sort of third-party hardware to do it. This is something I'm going to have to look into more.
